Força Centre - Carlson Gracie Team Halifax

Started training Muay Thai here a few weeks ago and I’m absolutely Loving it! I’ve never trained any martial arts before so I was a bit unsure what the experience would be like but this is a place where anyone would feel comfortable to start or continue training. The one hour class is an amazing workout and I really feel like I’m improving and learning a lot already. Highly recommend anyone who’s interested in Muay Thai gives Força a go. Not only are the trainers amazing and friendly but the people training here are equally as friendly and helpful when you’re a beginner like me. I’m going to try their Jujitsu classes next!

I walked into this club looking for self-defence based instruction for my young daughter. At the time I was unable to participate due to injury. Through consistent yet gentle encouragement from the staff, once my injuries improved I was able to try it out. I am now 100% hooked, and you will be too. The instruction for both children and adult is world class, with championship titles in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the helm of the teaching core. Progression in skill and technique is limitless, and the divsersity of talent amongst the students allows for people of all levels and skill sets a chance to test themselves without the fear of being completely overwhelmed.I walked in for the sake of my daughter. I never would have imagined how powerfully it would affect my own life.Come try a class. You won't regret it.See you on the mats.

A huge facility with lots of bags, mat space, and a full gym. One of the best places to train in HRM. The staff are dedicated to their students and the academy. Peter and Graeme have done a great job creating a family friendly atmosphere and they have rekindled my passion for martial arts. When I switched to this gym just over a year ago, I was also surprised by the level of skill at this gym. I am truly greatfull for how welcoming everyone was!
